Family Court

The Judiciary’s website explains that, “the family justice system exists to help families resolve disputes arising in respect of family matters quickly and with the minimum of disruption to those involved.” Following a Pilot between January 2023 and January 2025, the Family Procedure Rules were amended to allow for anonymised reporting on proceedings. Only legal bloggers and journalists are permitted to do so.
